Coaches, Umpires, Tournament Officials meet in MP Room |
All teams shall check-in as a group, in uniform, at Eads High School MP Room. Unless prior approval is obtained from the State Commissioner, all players, coaches, and bat girls (boys) will be required to attend check-in at the indicated time. Parents are invited, but not required to attend. Tournament souvenir shirts and programs will be available for purchase at check in time, at the barbeque, and during the tournament. Tickets to the Maine Street Bash (Picnic) can be picked up at this time. Teams are welcome to swim from 1-5 PM at the local swimming pool located just west off the softball fields. Cost is $1.00 (ages 0-12); $1.25 (ages 13-18); $1.50 (ages 18+) |

Tournament Picnic: MAINE STREET BASH - "Save the Theatre" Festival
Barbeque begins at 6 PM downtown on Maine Street in the lot just north of Valley State Bank - Players and Coaches in uniform will eat for free and be able to take in all the activities and music of the Maine Street Bash. Parents, families, etc. who wish to attend may puchase tickets at check-in time or at the door; $5.00 pr person includes the pork roast meal, free movie, live music, carnival games, craft booths, horseshoe and shuffleboard, authentic foods. All proceeds to go the "Save the Theatre Fund."

Game Schedule:
Brackets are pre-determined and will be available at check-in and posted at the field. First game will be played at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 14 at Eads Softball Field. |

Pre-game Information:
Warm ups will be either on the north practice field or on the track infield located to the west of the softball fields. Each team will be alotted 30 minutes prior to each game for warm up and 15 minutes to get to their alotted dugout. Home team shall use the third base dugout and visitors shall use the first base dugout. No warm ups on the field. Turn line-ups into the scorekeeper 30 minutes prior to game time. |

| Gate Admission: There will be a gate fee charged for each day. The fees are $4.00/adult/day and $2.00/children/day. Players and coaches in uniform get in free at all times. |

| Awards: The state will provide the tournament place awards. WOW pins will be awarded to a player from each team per game that exhibited the best overall performance. Trophies will be given out for Batting Champion, Best Pitcher, and Tournament MVP. |
