The Eads High School graduation requirements were approved on May 28, 2002 and was applied to the Class of 2005 and thereafter. VALEDICTORIAN & SALUTATORIAN SELECTION

Selection of the Valedictorian & Salutatorian shall be computed from permanent records from the freshman through senior years. There are no weighted class points beginning with the Class of 2005. To be a candidate for Valedictorian or Salutatorian, student must be in attendance 8 periods their senior year with no more than one (1) student aide period. Further, student must have taken no less than three upper-level classes to be considered for the Val/Sal honor. In case of a tie, the students' Foreign Language grade will be the deciding factor. See chart below for listing of Upper-Level courses. Online courses are not applicable in the Val/Sal decision.

The first four courses are offered over the DL and sent from John Hopper of Granada. College Human Growth & Devl. is sent online as is Psychology & Sociology if the student so chooses.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Spanish II & III
These courses are offered over the DL and sent from Granada. Most foreign language can be taken online as well.
