2004 Volleyball Team in Action
Volleyball action in Springfield where Eads won a thriller in five. The bulk of the blocking duties has fallen to an unlikely combo of senior H. Watson and freshman T. Hansen. Here Hansen and Watson (nearest in photo) puts a huge block on a Longhorn hit.
Opening action in Eads on September 3 against Stratton. Eads won the match in three games with great hustle such as this. Senior setter A. Uhland #6 and freshman hitter T. Hansen team up for an attack.
A closer look at Hansen and Watson on the net in Springfield. Eads managed to beat Springfield in the fifth and deciding game bringing their early season record to 2-1 overall.
Eads finished their season strong with two straight wins at home over Plainview and Granada. They were led by Hansen in the middle and the outside. Hansen is shown going up for a hit while her defense surrounds her ready for the block.
Alysha Uhland (left) was selected to the Hi-Plains League All-Conference Second Team in Volleyball while Brittany Peck (rt) was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
